JAKARTA - The case of the murder of a student, Kayla Rizki Andini, in Depok, West Java, was revealed. The results of the examination, the suspect Argiyan Arbirama used the mode of inviting coffee.

"The perpetrator contacted the victim through a chat with the Line application and invited him to have coffee together," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra, to reporters, Monday, January 22.

The suspect invited the victim, who is also his girlfriend, on Thursday, January 18. Initially Kayla had refused the invitation but was forced to continue.

Until finally, the 20-year-old woman agreed to the invitation. In fact, Kayla obeyed Argiyan who asked to be picked up at his rented house. "Then the victim was willing to pick him up at the perpetrator's house, and when he arrived at the perpetrator's house, the victim was asked to enter the perpetrator's rented house. Then the perpetrator immediately closed the rented door and locked it down," he continued.

Inside the house, the suspect began to issue his seduction. Because, he intends to have sex with his girlfriend.

The suspect asked Kayla to go to the bathroom for clean reasons. Nanun, at that time, Argiyan pulled his girlfriend's hand towards the room.

"At that time the perpetrator started kissing and holding the body rather than the victim, at which time the victim immediately rebelled and screamed. Because the victim rebelled and screamed, the perpetrator immediately strangled the victim and pushed her in the direction of the bed," he said.

Panic with the victim's screams, Argiyan continued to choke Kayla until she finally fell silent because she was helpless. The perpetrator continued the lecherous act of raping his lover.

After venting his lust, Argiyan tied Kayla's hands and feet with gloves and pillowcases. Not to forget, his mouth was also covered with a blanket.

Not only raping, the suspect also took the victim's belongings such as cellphones and wallets. Then, run away.

"When he ran away, the perpetrator had to inform the perpetrator's biological mother via chat on social media, where the perpetrator informed that at home there was a woman tied up, then the perpetrator's mother entered the house and found the victim dead," said Wira.

Argiyan was also arrested at the Ki Ageng Cem embracing bus terminal, North Kesesi, Kesesi District, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java, January 19.

In this case, investigators ensnared him under Article 338 of the Criminal Code on Murder, and/or 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code, namely persecution that resulted in people dying, and/or Article 285 of the Criminal Code rape with a maximum threat of 15 years in prison.
