SEMARANG - Police arrested two perpetrators of theft of dozens of iron covering the drainage channel along Jalan Tlogosari Raya, Semarang City, Central Java. Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar said the suspects UFU (35) and BI (41) residents of North Semarang, Semarang City, took iron covering the waterways at 11 points. Of the two perpetrators, the police secured 15 irons covering the drainage with a size of 40X50 cm weighing about 10 kg. In addition, from the two perpetrators, a pickup truck was also secured which was used during the action. According to Irwan, the Semarang City Public Works Agency has made an official report on the loss of drainage covering iron at various points in Semarang City. "On Jalan Tlogosari, 11 points of iron covering the water channel were stolen," he said in Semarang, Antara, Friday, January 19. Investigators, he continued, will still coordinate with the Public Works Department to find out the number of missing channel covers.

"It is still being developed, whether the other locations are carried out by the same group or different perpetrators," he said.
