"The house was burned down and a child became a victim. The victim's body has been taken to the Gunungsitoli Utara Health Center for post mortem," said Yanser in Gunungsitoli as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 23.

He explained, before his house caught fire, Yasona Zega Alias Ama Syukur went to the garden to tap rubber, not long after his wife Odiria Zega alias Ina Syukur followed her husband into the garden to participate in tapping rubber.

"Not long after, their daughter Desti Tawarni Zega also followed their parents to the garden and at the residence of the victim Dian Rahmawati Zega and her adopted sister Anugrah Zega," explained Yanser Hulu.

Then at noon, Desti Tawarni Zega returned to the house, but he saw their house on fire and his sister Anugrah Zega screamed for their parents while crying, so that the two who could not do anything could only scream and cry seeing their house on fire.

Not long after, their mother returned from the garden and saw that their house had been burnt down and her son Dian Rahmat Wati Zega was also burned down along with their house.

"From the owner of the house, Yasona Zega alias Ama Syukur, the police received information that he had ordered his children to water used wood for cooking in the kitchen, and for the time being the fire was predicted to be caused by wood used for cooking in the kitchen," he explained.

As a result of the fire, Ama Syukur also suffered a material loss of approximately IDR 50 million.
