JAKARTA - Indonesian pilgrims will depart for Saudi Arabia starting May 12, 2024 according to the Hajj Travel Plan of 1445 Hijri/2024 AD issued by the Ministry of Religion.

"Indonesian pilgrims will start leaving for the Holy Land starting May 12, 2024," said Director of Hajj and Umrah at the Ministry of Religion, Hilman Latief, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 18.

Indonesia received a quota to send 241,000 people to the Holy Land to perform the pilgrimage in 2024.

Departure of Indonesian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will be carried out in two waves.
