Ronald Tannur Suspect Of Early Murder Of Sera Afrianti Immediately Undergoes Trial

SURABAYA - The case file for the murder of suspect Gregorius Ronald Tanur has been declared complete. This means that the son of Commission IV DPR member, Edward Tannur, will soon undergo a trial at the Surabaya District Court (PN).

"The case file was declared complete (P21), after the Research Prosecutor's Team at the General Crime Section (Pidum) of the Surabaya District Attorney, carried out research on the case file," said Head of the Surabaya Kejari, Joko Budi Darmawan, in a written statement, Thursday, January 18.

In the case file, Joko continued, the suspect Ronald was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code or the second Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code Or the third Article 359 of the Criminal Code and 351 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code. This article regulates murder, with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.

"Furthermore, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) is waiting for the transfer of the suspect, and evidence from the Surabaya Police investigators will be transferred soon, and a trial will be held at the Surabaya District Court (PN)," he said.

Dini Sera Afriyanti, 29, died after visiting a nightclub on Jalan Mayjen Jonosewejo, Lakarsantri, Surabaya on October 4, 2023. He died allegedly as a result of being mistreated by Ronald Tannur.
