PALEMBANG - Jakabaring Sport City (JSC) Manager, Palembang City, South Sumatra anticipates the theft of visitor motorbikes by adding the entrance and exit gate to the Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium area. JSC Operations Director Geri said the anticipation of motorcycle theft was increased again because some time ago the theft of a motorcycle was carried out by an irresponsible person. "We added more surveillance gates in and out of JSC, especially during events at JSC to anticipate the theft of the motorbike, and even tighter guard in front of the main gate through entrance tickets," Geri said when confirmed in Palembang, Antara, Thursday, January 17. He added that this is the first time this motorcycle theft has occurred in 2024 after previously happening last year. Regarding the recently occurred motorcycle theft case, his party has coordinated with the police and is a form of JSC management's responsibility to visitors whose motorbikes were stolen. Then the modus operandi of the perpetrators has been discovered that the perpetrator is currently under investigation by the Police.

He appealed to visitors or tourists to add a double key when visiting JSC to guard and be aware of the theft.
