Prabowo Wants Political Elite To Be Aware Of Corruption Must Be Eradicated, Gibran Offers Opposite Evidence

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto feels that all political elites are aware of the importance of eradicating corruption. This is because corruption has an impact on the destruction of the nation's future.

"I feel that now there is awareness from all political elites that our people are demanding corruption to be eradicated. This corruption weakens the nation. This corruption endangers the nation's future," Prabowo told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Wednesday, January 17.

Therefore, Prabowo will support all efforts that strengthen the KPK. Not only that, all law enforcement officers will also be strengthened so as to prevent corruption.

"We will support all efforts to strengthen the KPK and other law enforcers of the police, prosecutors, all law enforcement instruments," he said.

"We must strengthen the instruments of supervising state assets, BPK, BPKP, we must strengthen all of these instruments," continued Prabowo.

In addition, the vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka said that in an effort to eradicate corruption, the method of proof was reversed.

This means that the disclosure of corruption cases starts from checking assets. Then traced how to get it, such as through income.

"We are trying to speed up mitigation efforts, including if evidence is needed to be reversed, it needs to be suppressed for us to apply and also emphasize to take action," said Gibran.
