Anies Reveals State Revenue Until Gambling Business Becomes The Most Watched Corruption Eradication Sector

Presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, revealed that the five sectors of activity were the main targets in monitoring and eradicating corruption.

One of them is state revenue. This was conveyed by Anies at the KPK Integrity Paku event which was attended by three candidate pairs of presidential and vice-presidential candidates at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan, South Jakarta.

"We see the importance of this aspect taken seriously (such as) taxes, excise duty, PNPB (non-tax state revenue)," said Anies, Wednesday, January 17.

The second sector is natural resources and marine resources. The third sector is the food sector, which according to Anies has a broad impact on the community.

"Corruption in this sector (food) has a huge impact on the welfare of all Indonesian people," said Anies.

The fourth sector is basic services, health education, infrastructure. "This has a very large effect on the quality of education, the quality of health services, even the quality of the economy, because infrastructure is disrupted by corrupt practices," he continued.

Then the fifth sector that must be monitored at the earliest in eradicating corruption is illegal business, gambling, drugs and others.

"These are the main sectors that in our saving need to be a concern in eradicating corruption. We are committed not only because we are currently in charge of becoming presidential and vice presidential candidates and are asked for their commitments at the KPK," Anies added.
