The Pretext Of The DKI Provincial Government To Increase The Tariff On The Retribution Of Art Buildings And Museums: A Form Of Quality

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Culture Service, Iwan Henry Wardhana, explained the reason why the DKI Provincial Government raised the retribution rate or rental for art buildings it manages.

Iwan argued that the increase in the retribution value of art buildings and museums was a form of breeding. Because, according to him, art buildings and museums are cultural heritage buildings that have historical value towards the development of the city of Jakarta and as evidence of the splendor of the civilization of the Indonesian nation in the past.

"It is hoped that in the future there will be an increase in the current adjustment of retribution rates as a form of breeding for the existence of art buildings and museums," said Iwan in his statement, Wednesday, January 17.

Moreover, said Iwan, the DKI Provincial Government has revitalized and conserved cultural heritage buildings to make them more sustainable. Also, improvement of facilities and infrastructure for cultural arts, both buildings and supporting facilities is in line with retribution adjustments such as, sound systems, lighting (lighting), air conditioning (AC) and interior.

The facility improvement was carried out at the Jakarta Arts Building, Wayang Orang Bharata, Miss Tjitjih Art Building, Condet Cultural Center, Cultural Art Training Center, Betawi Cultural Village, Pitung Home, Immersive Museum.

"This increased infrastructure will continue to be carried out, including those that will be implemented in the 2024 fiscal year," said Iwan.

It is known that the increase in the levy of art buildings and museums in Jakarta is contained in DKI Jakarta Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2024 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Retribution which was recently signed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Buri Hartono.

The regional regulation was issued on the basis of the regulation of the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2019 concerning Regional Financial Management and Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments.

Details of the retribution rates for new art buildings and museums are as follows:

1. Building in Taman Ismail Marzukia. Great Theater:- Implementation of Work Day events of IDR 42,000,000 per day Akhir week of IDR 50,000,000 per day

- Resik rehearsal and unloading: IDR 21,000,000 working day per day Akhir week IDR 25,000,000 per day

b. Small Theater:- Implementation of Work Day events IDR 10,000,000 per day Akhir week IDR 12,000,000 per day

- Resik Gladi and unloading Work Day Rp5,000,000 per day Akhir week Rp6,000,000 per day

c. Pemakaian Plaza: Hari kerja Rp1,300,000 per hari Akhir pekan Rp1,500,000 per hari

d. Indoor training room: IDR 950,000 per day Akhir week IDR 1,000,000 per day

e. Makeup room: IDR 420,000 per day At the end of the week IDR 40,000 per day

f. Location use for shooting, recording films and others: Working day of IDR 2,500,000 per day Akhir week IDR 2,700,000 per day

g. Videotron usage:- Public broadcast (day of work) IDR 7,500 per broadcast - Public broadcast (end of week) IDR 12,500 per broadcast - Educational advertisements and cultural arts activities that are social (day of work) IDR 3,750 per broadcast - Educational advertisements and cultural arts activities that are social (end of week) IDR 6,250 per broadcast

2. Usage of cultural arts buildings: a. Jakarta Art Building: Monday to Friday IDR 15,000,000 per day Saturday and Sunday IDR 20,000,000 per person

b. Miss Tjitjih Arts Building: IDR 5,000,000 per day

c. Bharata People's Puppet Art Building: IDR 5,000,000 per day

d. Condet Cultural Center Building: IDR 5,000,000 per day.

3. Use the cultural arts center building : a. Muhamad Mashabi Building, Central Jakarta: IDR 1,000,000 per day

b. Aki Tirem Building, North Jakarta: IDR 1,000,000 per day

c. Kisam Dji'un Building, East Jakarta: IDR 1,000,000 per day

d. Sa'aba Amsir Building, South Jakarta: IDR 1,000,000 per day

e. KH Usman Perak Building, West Jakarta IDR 1,000,000 per day.

4. Building users in the Betawi Cultural Village area: a. auditorium Building of IDR 1,000,000 per day

b. Traditional house building of IDR 500,000 per day

5. Jakarta Historical Museums - Taman Prasasti Museum - Joang 45 Museum - MH Thamrin Museum - Bahari Museum - Unrust Archaeological Museum - Si Pitung House - Museum of Fine Arts and Kramics - Wayang Museum - Textile Museum

Adult or general rates: Monday to Friday IDR 10,000 per person Saturday and Sunday IDR 15,000 per student/student and children IDR 5,000 per foreign tourist IDR 50,000 per person

Tariffs for adult/generalized groups (marimal 30 people): Monday to Friday Rp7,500 per person Saturday and Sunday Rp11,250 per student and children Rp3,750 per person

6. Regional asset use: a. Location use for shooting movies, recordings and the like: IDR 5,000,000 per six hours

b. Location use for commercial photos such as advertisements or pre-wedding: IDR 1,000,000 per six hours

c. The use of plazas, spaces and parks: IDR 1,000,000 per day with a park area of 0-500 square meters.

d. Amphitheater usage in Setu Babakan: IDR 2,500,000 per day

e. multipurpose room building at the museum: IDR 1,000,000 per eight hours.
