Showing Off Gibran Leading Solo Achieves Adipura, TKN: Innovation Will Be Developed Nationally

SOLO - Commander of the Communication Team for the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Budisatrio Djiwandono, claims that handling waste in Solo is proof that the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, is innovative in solving environmental problems.

"It can be checked for track records, there are many breakthroughs, innovations about the environment in Solo. Last year Solo received the Adipura Big City award. Waste management and green open space in Solo are one of the best," Budi said in a written statement, Tuesday, January 16, quoted by Antara.

Budi gave an example of Solo under the leadership of President Joko Widodo's eldest son being able to innovate in managing waste which is often a source of environmental problems.

One of them, the Putri Cempo Waste Power Plant (PLTSa) or known as the Solo PLTSa. The generator of electricity with gasification plasma technology has been operating officially since October 2023 and has received an Operational LIKE Certificate (SLO).

"In Solo, there is technology that can turn waste into electrical energy. That's innovation. In many bins, it is often an environmental problem," he said.

Waste management in Solo, according to Budi, proves that Gibran has special attention to environmental issues.

He said the waste management program in Solo would be developed throughout Indonesia if Gibran and Prabowo Subianto won the 2024 presidential election.

"The preservation of the environment is one of 17 Prabowo-Gibran priority programs. So, what Mas Gibran has succeeded in doing in Solo will be developed nationally, God willing, if Prabowo-Gibran wins," he said.

Budi made this statement highlighting the theme of the fourth debate that will be held by the KPU on Sunday, January 21. The theme of the fourth debate includes energy, natural resources, food, carbon taxes, the environment, agrarianism, and indigenous peoples.
