TEMANGGUNG - Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) asked Democratic Party cadres to maintain a'seat' that already exists in the legislature. "We ask Allah that we make every effort to maintain the existing seats, to maintain the existing seats," he said in Temanggung, Central Java, Antara, Tuesday, January 16. He said that he did not have any important targets with good efforts from the Democratic Party, who carried out constitutional duties for the election, hoped that the votes would increase and the seats would increase. "With all the efforts now the competition is not easy, I have never given too high targets, I feel sorry for them, try to do well, keep trying to increase the number of votes, the seats will increase," he said. He stated that he was not too attached to surveys, many surveys were low, half high, and some were high. SBY said the Democratic Party carried the candidate pair for President and Vice President Prabowo Subiyanto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 General Election.
