Oke Gas Prabowo Gibran Chosen To Be The Official Song Of Campaign 02

JAKARTA - The song Oke Gas, which was popularized by Richard Jersey, is now the official song of the Prabowo-Gibran campaign. After collaborating with the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), and as a form of support, Richard made a song called Oke Gas Prabowo Gibran which was in accordance with the struggle of the candidate pair (paslon) 02.

Maybe some of us have heard the popular song Oke Gas and are naturally embedded in the video clip of the Prabowo dance game, on social media. Not only proud, Richard as the singer even made a song to help win Prabowo-Gibran.

"When we found out that this song went viral, we tried to meet Richard. It turned out that Richard was touched by the song being a hit and made a song to use in Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran's campaign," said Deputy Chairperson of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Akbar Himawan Buchari during the Launching of the song and Video of Prabowo-Gibran's Official Campaign Clip in Jakarta, Monday, January 15.

When he met Richard, Akbar heard the story that made the 27-year-old rapper motivated when he composed the song Oke Gas. As a newcomer, and from the regions, Richard is often ridiculed by senior rappers. However, he still struggles and proves that young people can work.

"So this is really the same thing that Prabowo-Gibran experienced. How do candidate pair 02 often get scorn and even black campaigns from their political opponents. However, Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran replied to the scorn by proving it for Indonesia," said Akbar.

In addition, Akbar's reason for inviting Richard to collaborate is because he wants to raise the potential of the creative economy, especially in the field of music. He believes that there are still many potentials like the rapper from Talaud, North Sulawesi. So what must be done is to give it a chance.

Similar to Prabowo who gave Gibran the opportunity to represent the millennial generation and GenZ to become a national leader. Moreover, many young people have succeeded in becoming leaders in the world.

"If Pak Prabowo can make Gibran his deputy, why not me. As a young entrepreneur, I know very well the meaning of opportunity and opportunities to really be optimized," said the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fighter Entrepreneurs Front (BPP).

On the same occasion, the Chairman of TKN Prabowo-Gibran Rosan Roeslani supported Akbar. Moreover, Prabowo and Gibran also appreciated Richard for making a special song entitled Oke Gas Prabowo Gibran to help win the 2024 presidential election.

"When I listened to Pak Prabowo, he gave a positive response. Moreover, this song can provide energy for us to continue to fight to win Prabowo-Gibran one round," said Rosan.

In addition, Rosan also asked TKN, volunteers, and all Prabowo-Gibran supporters to use this song when campaigning. In accordance with the beats that can make people sway, TKN must set an example that the presidential election must be faced with joy.

Meanwhile, Richard will help win Prabowo-Gibran with his work. "I am ready to appear in Prabowo-Gibran's grand campaign. When is the time, just wait for the game date," said Richard.
