Mahfud: KKN-Oligarchic Collusion Officials Must Be Against Offensive

The candidate for vice president number 3 Mahfud MD said law enforcement and justice are the main priorities of the pair Ganjar Pranowodan MahfudMd in running the government if elected in the 2024 presidential election.

"Ganjar-Mahfud sees that the most important thing in Indonesia right now is law enforcement and justice, that's the main theme," said Mahfud when in touch with community leaders, religious leaders, recitation mothers, and school teachers throughout Langkat Regency in Pangkalan Berandan, Langkat, North Sumatra reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 15.

Mahfud said that efforts to improve welfare, economy, education, and marine will run well if the law is enforced properly.

"Therefore, we make law enforcement a means of building people's welfare," he said.

He said there are two things in law enforcement, namely offensive or in a harsh and defensive way or protecting.

"Why? Because the violation of the law occurred above among officials, KKN, oligarchs, businessmen collusioned to seize people's rights. Therefore, they must be firm. We must be offensive when talking about war," he said.

Meanwhile, to the small people, Mahfud said he would be given protection or defensive. There should no longer be confiscation of people's land and customary land.

"Therefore, we will brush the ones above who like to commit corruption with offensive, those below we protect defensively, we provide legal protection," he said.

At the end of the event, Mahfud left a message to convey to his family and friends at home to choose the most appropriate candidate for leader with conscience.
