2 Members Of The Aceh Regional Police Arrested For Drugs, Evidence One Ons Sabu

Two members of the Aceh Regional Police, namely a middle officer and another officer with the rank of Brigadier, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine-type drugs weighing up to an ounce.

Aceh Deputy Chief of Police Brigadier General Armia Fahmi said the arrests of the two police officers were the commitment of the Aceh Police Chief who did not indiscriminately take action against drug trafficking and abuse.

"Two police officers were arrested for allegedly being involved in drugs some time ago with evidence reaching an ounce. An intermediate officer with the rank of AKBP with the initials A and another officer with the rank of Brigadier," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 15.

The two pools were arrested by Banda Aceh Police personnel. The arrest of the police officer is a development of the arrest of a police officer with the rank of Brigadier.

"From its development, it was revealed that AKBP A was involved. And this case is still under development to reveal where the two of them got the prohibited items," said Armia Fahmi.

The Deputy Chief of Police of Aceh stated that if the two were found guilty, apart from being convicted, other sanctions were also dishonorable dismissal from the National Police membership.

"Disclosure of the involvement of these police officers is a follow-up to the commitment of the Aceh Police Chief Inspector General Pol Achmad Kartiko who is not indiscriminate in taking firm action against drug trafficking and abuse perpetrators," he said.
