JAKARTA - Suspect Dito Mahendra will undergo his first trial in the alleged possession of firearms or illegal senpi today. In the trial later, Dito will hear the indictment of the public prosecutor or prosecutor.

Based on the Perkasa Tracing Information System or SIPP, Mahendra Dito Sampurno or Dito Mahendra's inaugural trial was held in courtroom 4.00 WIB.

"The first trial (of reading the indictment)," wrote SIPP of the South Jakarta District Court, quoted by VOI, Monday, January 15.

The case of possession of this rifle began when the Corruption Eradication Commission or the KPK raided Dito Mahendra's residence. From the search, several firearms were found without an official permit.

Thus, the KPK delegated the handling of the senpi ownership case to the Polda Metro Jaya. However, not long after, the case was transferred again to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

Dito Mahendra was originally a fugitive. However, he was finally arrested at a villa in the Canggu area, Badung Bali, Thursday, September 8. The arrests were made during Dito's vacation.

Thus, investigators charged him with Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 and threatened a maximum of 20 years in prison.
