DPRD Suggests Stickers For Peaceful Elections Heru Budi To Be Replaced With More Neutral Images

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD recommends that the sticker of the appeal for the 2024 General Election be safe and peaceful with the image of the Acting Governor (Pj) of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono be replaced with a more neutral image.

"Yes, my suggestion may be that the appeal should be wiser and wiser in the 'packaging' (packaging) of its delivery," said Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Rani Mauliani as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 13.

Therefore, he suggested replacing the image with a more neutral image.

"If you want to replace it with a more neutral media image but the name of the Acting in his words can also arrive at the message," he said.

Rani said, during this campaign period, everything needed to be done carefully and wisely.

This is because the sticker reads "Smart choice, safe election, Strong Indonesia!" accompanied by a photo of Heru wearing a white uniform while bending his hands on the door of the TransJakarta bus stop is now in the spotlight.

"It's really difficult, during the current campaign period everything is so sensitive, not to mention the 'kepo' level (knowing every secular object/serba wanted to know) and 'baper' (carrying feelings) very high," Rani said.

According to Rani, the public should see the contents of the message from Heru's appeal sticker, which is to invite the people of Jakarta to exercise their voting rights properly and make the 2024 General Election a smooth, safe and peaceful success.

He said, Heru as the head of the Jakarta area should give an appeal regarding Jakarta's security, order and peace. What needs to be remembered, said Rani, is that Heru is currently not a participant in the 2024 General Election, such as candidates or presidential candidates (candidates) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres).

Rani assesses Heru as a worker who focuses on the problems experienced by its citizens. For example, transportation arrangement in Jakarta by expanding the presence of public transportation.

"So far, he has 'concern', one of which is public transportation. This is related to the implementation of the 'groundbreaking' (first stone laying) of the Jakarta LRT some time ago," Rani said.

"We have installed stickers since November 10, 2023. In order to welcome the implementation of the 2024 General Election, we have invited to keep the election running safely," said Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of PT TransJakarta Wibowo in Jakarta, Thursday (11/1).

Wibowo said the placement of the stickers was in accordance with the needs of each bus stop.
