Ukraine-UK Sign Security Cooperation For 10 Years

JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Britain and his country signed a security cooperation agreement for 10 years that had "unprecedented".

In Telegram's upload, Zelenskyy said he agreed with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on annual support for Ukraine and "comprehensive cooperation" to increase the military potential of the armed and security forces and strengthen the military industrial complex, state institutions, and public systems.

Zelenskyy also thanked Baltic countries for their decision to supply weapons to Ukraine, providing economic assistance and support to Ukraine to join the European Union and NATO.

In a separate statement, Zelenskyy said he had met with the United States Special Envoy for Ukraine's Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker.

"This visit is a strong signal of firm support for our country. Last year was a record-breaking year for the development of Ukraine-American relations. We are determined to continue to maintain this dynamic," he said.

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby previously said the Biden administration was in the final stages of preparing a final aid package for Ukraine if Congress failed to provide more funding.
