TKN Appreciates Police Quick Action Arrest Threatening Anies Baswedan

Spokesperson for the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Andre Rosiade, appreciated the police's quick steps in investigating and arresting the perpetrators of the shooting of presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan.

"I support and appreciate the quick steps taken by the police in arresting and punishing democracy disruptors," said Andre as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, January 13.

The Gerindra Party politician assessed that the police's quick move had provided a sense of security to all participants in the 2024 General Election.

According to him, taking action against perpetrators who try to interfere with the democratic process must be carried out firmly so that a dream to bring a cheerful democracy can be realized.

"Once again, this contestation must run happily, all candidates must receive the same treatment, we must protect all candidates together, so that this election becomes a democratic party, the people come cheerfully," he said.

Andre, who is also the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Regional Campaign Team (TKD) for the West Sumatra region, ensured that until now all state institutions, especially the police, are still very neutral to all candidate pairs and election participants.

"I often go down to the community, in my opinion, until now our institutions are neutral," he said.
