Shooting Threatener Anies Baswedan On TikTok Is Called Unrelated Police Other Paslons In The 2024 Presidential Election

The police confirmed that the owner of the TikTok account, @calonistri71600, threatened to shoot Anies Baswedan, not related to other couples in the 2024 presidential election. This certainty was obtained after they arrested a 23-year-old man with the initials AWK in the Jember area, East Java.

"Until now, thank God there is nothing related to the problem, initial information. That's why we emphasize, is that the account true. That's right, that's his account and whether he tweeted and it has been acknowledged," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Sandi Nugroho at a press conference in Jakarta, Saturday, January 13.

It is known, Anies is known to have received the threat of shooting on social media TikTok from the @calonistri71600 account, 'How many years in prison, Mr. Anies?'.

Even so, Sandi said the investigation was still being carried out by the team of the Cyber Directorate of Bareskrim Polri and the Cyber Sub-Directorate of the East Java Police. The police continue to look for AWK's motive for writing the threat.

In the future, the National Police hopes that this kind of incident will not happen again. The public is asked to take care of each other in the current election.

"Security and order are not only in the context of elections but security and order are our shared responsibility," said Sandi.

"Therefore, we strongly urge and expect that all people who have a desire for election activities or others to be able to take care of each other, can refrain from doing things that harm yourself or others," he concluded.
