WEST PAPUA - Dozens of TNI members' wives from Kodam XVIII/Kasuari take care of moving to choose or take care of the additional voter list (DPTb) at the General Election Commission (KPU) Manokwari, West Papua Province, Friday 12 January.

They are mothers who are members of the Army Wives Association (Persit). It is possible that their colleagues who will move locations will choose to increase.

"This is our obligation as Indonesian citizens to vote during the 2024 General Election. If we have to return to the area of origin to choose, of course, the cost is not cheap," he said.

He explained that the group of Persit mothers of Kodam XVIII/Kasuari thanked the KPU for taking care of the DPTb turned out to be easy and received a detailed explanation.

Head of the Technical Division of the Manokwari KPU, Sidarman, explained that he would receive information that there would be 53 Persit women from Kodam XVIII/Kasuari who took care of moving to vote.

He said that when voting on the D day of February 14, Persit's mothers could choose in Manokwari. After they take care of the DPTb, the Manokwari KPU will determine where the TPS is where they vote.

"For the administrative management, the completeness of the KTP is only the person concerned, then a sign of evidence that they are following their husband to move assignments or sprints (transfer assignments) from their husband. But those who take care of the DPTb cannot be represented, must come and take care of themselves," he said.
