JAKARTA - Dozens of illegal parks for two-wheeled vehicles were brought under control by joint officers from the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) in the Tanah Abang Market area, Central Jakarta, Friday, January 12.

The Field Coordinator of the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., WS Laoli, accompanied by the Head of the Tanah Abang Transportation Unit, said that the control of illegal parking was carried out based on reports from the public who complained about traffic jams in the Tanah Abang Market area.

This control targets two-wheeled vehicles that park carelessly on the shoulder of the road.

From the results of this control, we transported 30 motorbikes because they parked carelessly. Not only on the shoulder of the road, his party also brought order to two-wheeled vehicles parked on the sidewalk," Laoli told VOI at the location, Friday, January 12.

Furthermore, Laoly said that vehicles parked carelessly will be transported and taken to the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department Office.

Therefore, he hopes that the public will not park in the buildings and parking lots available in the Tanah Abang Market area.

"Moreover, his position is in the corner. It is very disturbing to the traffic," he said.

Today's activities, he continued, are in accordance with the attention of the Head of the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept.

"The motorbike was transported because it parked on the road and sidewalk. It violated it. There were also complaints from the public and routine daily activities," he said.
