A 15-year-old Teenager In Makassar Raped To Pregnant By 3 Youths

MAKASSAR - A 15-year-old girl in Makassar City, South Sulawesi, was raped by three youths until she was four months pregnant.

The three perpetrators, namely SA (19) MI (19) and FI (20) were arrested in different locations in Makassar City.

When arrested, the mother of the FI perpetrator cried and was involved in a tug-of-war with the officer who wanted to take her from inside his house.

As for the SA perpetrators, they fled when the police surrounded the location where they lived, so the officers were forced to catch up until they were finally able to arrest him.

Head of Public Relations of Makassar Polrestabes, AKP Wahiduddin said the arrest process took place on Thursday 11 January.

The three perpetrators were handed over to the Women and Children Protection Unit of the Makassar Police Satreskrim for an in-depth examination.

"So three underage sex offenders have been arrested because the victim is a minor. The victim is according to the information that he is 15 years old. Now he has been detained at the Makassar Police for questioning," said Wahiduddin, Friday, January 12.

AKP Wahiduddin revealed that the three young men were previously reported by a teenage girl who had been raped in turn in September 2023.

Initially, one of the perpetrators with the initials SA was drunk with the victim and took him to one of the security posts at Jalan Metro Tanjung Bunga, Makassar City. At that location, SA forced and raped the helpless victim.

"According to the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator is under the influence of alcoholic beverages. He is one complex, meaning they are neighbors and they already know each other," he explained.

After the first perpetrator raped the victim, two other fellow perpetrators also came to the location and took turns doing the same thing.

"Initially, the chronology of the victims was picked up by the perpetrators at the hospital and then taken to the security post in the Tanjung Bunga area. Then there were forced to serve the perpetrators alternately, rotating three people," he continued.

As a result of this heinous act, the victim is now four months pregnant. The victim only reported his rape to the Makassar Police SPKT after his parents saw significant physical changes to his daughter.

"The victim is four months pregnant because it happened in 2023," he said.

Victims who are experiencing severe trauma are now accompanied by UPTD PPA psychologists in Makassar City. Meanwhile, the three perpetrators are threatened with being charged with Article 81 of Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection in conjunction with Article 6C of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS).
