Three Toddlers In Sukabumi Died In The Mining Excavation Project

SUKABUMI - Three children under five years old (toddlers) in Warungwaru Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, allegedly drowned in the vicinity of the mining project, Neglasari Village, Nyalindung District.

"The three toddlers drowned in the mining excavation, RT 01/04, Neglasari Village, Nyalindung District," said Acting Head of the Nyalindung Sub-district, Mulyadi, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 11.

According to information gathered from various sources, it was stated that the unfortunate incident that befell three toddlers on behalf of Humairah (4), Sarif (4) and Hafidz (5) began when they played around the mining project not far from their homes.

While playing fun, the three suddenly collapsed on the ground so that their bodies were carried away to the mine excavation site filled with deep water.

These three toddlers could not save themselves and drowned in that place.

Residents who saw the incident immediately evacuated all victims from the excavation. Two victims, namely Humairah and Sarif, were taken to R Syamsudin SH Hospital, Sukabumi City, while another victim, Hafidz, was evacuated to the Cijangkar Health Center, Nyalindung District.

However, the lives of these three toddlers were not saved after receiving heart and lung resuscitation because they had too much water and were not breathing for a long time.

The Nyalindung Police immediately went to the location to conduct a crime scene (TKP) and install a police line so that no residents or people with no interest are still at the scene.
