Muhaimin Visits Bung Karno's Grave After Istikharah

JAKARTA - Candidate for Vice President (cawapres) Muhaimin Iskandar made a pilgrimage to the grave of the Proclaimer of Indonesian Independence Soekarno or Bung Karno after the sistharah or sunnah prayer, please show the right choice.

After the sunnah prayer, Muhaimin admitted that he dreamed of making a pilgrimage to the grave of the founder of the Indonesian nation.

"Istikharah, I was summoned here to meet him, I don't know, basically, I was told to come here, we'll see what the next dream will be," said Muhaimin after a pilgrimage at Bung Karno's grave in Blitar City, East Java, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 11.

Muhaiminin explained that the pilgrimage was also carried out by a number of kiai or ulama because Bung Karno was the founder of the nation, as well as his knowledge could be a guide, especially the ideas of the populist as well as the concept of national development (ration building).

Muhaimin assessed that Bung Karno was an inspiration. If the Anies-Muhaimin pair wins, this figure becomes an inspiration to realize food, energy, economic and cultural sovereignty.

"So that we don't turn around, don't go to liberal, and are not affected like building an economy that doesn't heed the needs of our own nation," he said.
