The National Police Chief Asks Interfaith Leaders To Become A 'Coiling System' For The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo left a message to interfaith leaders to become the 2024 election team, maintaining unity and integrity.

"Coolating system, I entrust you while there are various kinds of cross-religious brothers and sisters and this is very important for us to convey to our congregation. To our congregation to continue to be able to maintain unity and integrity in the midst of existing differences of opinion," said the National Police Chief in his remarks at the Christmas celebration at the National Police Headquarters, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 11.

Apart from interfaith leaders, Sigit also asked the congregation to maintain unity and integrity, despite differences of opinion and choice.

The National Police Chief emphasized that what has been achieved by the country's leaders in maintaining conduciveness must be continued and improved. To be able to maintain that, he continued, the main condition is to maintain stability in security and public order (Kamtibmas).

He also reminded all members of the National Police that their duties and responsibilities can be carried out with existing capital and enthusiasm, can maintain diversity, and tolerance, one of which is this Christmas celebration.

"This is because with the existing capital, our enthusiasm is to maintain diversity, one of which is this Christmas celebration, we continue to maintain tolerance and this is part of maintaining diversity," said Sigit.

In addition, the National Police Chief also called for the spirit of maintaining religious tolerance, caring for Indonesia's diversity to ensure that the entire implementation of the 2024 General Election runs safely and peacefully, to all ranks of the Bhayangkara Corps.

The Bhayangkara Corps continues to be committed to maintaining tolerance and diversity owned by the Indonesian nation. One of them is by holding worship activities of every religion.

"It is part of religious tolerance activities, especially in the Polri environment, which we have been maintaining so far," said Sigit.
