East Java Police Name 2 New Suspects In The Shooting Case In Sampang

The East Java Regional Police have named two new suspects in the shooting case in Banyuates Village, Banyuates District, Sampang Regency, Madura.

A total of five suspects have now been named as suspects, previously three suspects were named in the case.

"We have named five suspects, previously we have named three suspects, and now there are two more to a total of five suspects related to the shooting case," said Dirreskrimum Polda East Java, Kombes Totok Suharyanto, at the East Java Police Headquarters in Surabaya, Thursday, January 11.

The three people who were previously named as suspects had the initials MW, S and H, and they were residents of Sampang. Then two new suspects with the initials AR and AH, both of whom came from Pasuruan Regency.

"These two suspects are the executors in the shooting of the victim named Muarah," he said.

The five suspects have their respective roles in carrying out the shooting. The suspect MW, who is a village head, is the mastermind in the case.

In addition, the suspect MW also prepared facilities such as firearms, two motorbikes, up to Rp50 million for the executor. Meanwhile, suspect H ordered suspect S to supervise, monitor the victim six days before the shooting, and monitor and ensure that the impurity had shot the victim.

"The suspect MW is the mastermind in this shooting case. Well, the person concerned also prepared Rp50 million for the executor," he said.

The police also secured evidence (BB) of one unit of the 38 caliber revolver type SNW, 9 mm colliber brand pistol, NMAX motorcycle, and black Vario brand. Then two revolver ammunition casings, 15 revolver ammunition, 20 FN ammunition, seven mobile phones, two CCTV RVR units, 37 sharp weapons and cash amounting to Rp850 million.

The suspects were charged with Article 353 Paragraph 2 Subs 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code Jo 55, 56 of the Criminal Code or Article 1 paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law No.12 of 1951, with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
