6 Times In Action, Perpetrators Of Breast Robbery In Pekanbaru Successfully Arrested

PEKANBARU - After 6 actions, the perpetrators of breast robbery, MA (27) operating on Jalan Garuda, Bukit Raya District were arrested. His last action took place on Jalan Katio Ujung, Tangkerang Tengah Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City.

The Supreme Court has carried out breast robbery six times, even though the perpetrator is currently married and is pregnant. Perpetrators often act alone using motorbikes.

The Head of Subunit I PPA Pekanbaru Police, Ipda Fanni Putri, explained that the Supreme Court was first secured by residents who were suspicious of their movements. Residents followed the perpetrators and managed to secure them when they wanted to harass a woman.

"The Supreme Court's first action took place on Tuesday afternoon, when the victim who came home from shopping was targeted. The perpetrator squeezed the victim's breasts when the victim was about to open the fence of her house, then the perpetrator fled on a motorbike after the victim screamed," said Fanni, Thursday, January 11.

The victim reported the incident to the head of the local RT, who together with local residents managed to spy and secure the perpetrator.

"After receiving the victim's report, the head of the RT together with local residents then stalked the perpetrator and managed to secure the perpetrator when he was about to try to harass a woman in the area," he said.

The perpetrator and the evidence are now being secured at the Pekanbaru Police Headquarters. The Supreme Court is entangled in Article 6 of the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS) and/or Article 289 of the Criminal Code, which carries a penalty of 12 years in prison.
