The presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo assesses that if the 2024 election presidential and vice presidential debate format is changed, then it will make the campaign media more lively or interesting. Ganjar said that in response to President Joko Widodo's opinion which said the presidential and vice presidential debate format should be changed by presenting signs so that the debate can be more lively. He assessed that the current presidential and vice presidential debate format of the 2024 election actually displays a question quota and answers, where asking twice is answered only once. Related to that, Ganjar hopes that the format of the debate is changed by using the time quota. "This is the answer to the question, asking if it is twice, answered, so, yes. In my opinion, love time, today's debate, say 3 minutes, then 3 minutes can be foresty," explained Ganjar. He admits that he is happy if during the debate, the candidates of the presidential and vice presidential candidates can be mutually foresty confirming one another's argument. The KPU has determined the participants of the 2024 presidential election, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3. The campaign period runs from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, while the voting schedule is on February 14, 2024.
