Sauna Room In Sudirman Hill Apartment Explodes And Burns, No Casualties

The sound of the explosion followed by the fire lighting occurred on the 7th floor of the fire room, Sudirman Hill Apartment, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10, evening.

"It caught fire on the object of the 7th floor of the Sauna Room," said Kemayoran Sector Picket Officer Aminudin in his statement.

The incident was known to have started when an employee heard the sound of an explosion on the 7th floor of Sudirman Hill's apartment. After being checked, the employee saw thick smoke rising from the basement.

"At first the employee heard an explosion on the 7th floor while looking for the source of the employee's explosion when he saw thick smoke and then reported it to the fire department," he said.

Receiving the report, the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. deployed 9 fire engines by deploying 45 personnel. Currently, the fire in Sudirman Hill's apartment has been successfully extinguished by Gulkarmat officers.

Luckily there were no casualties or injuries in the fire. Until now, the cause of the fire in the Sudirman Hill Apartment basement is not yet known.
