KPK Examines 7 People At Mako Brimob, Including A Number Of North Maluku Provincial Government Officials

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined seven people, including a number of echelon II officials of the North Maluku Provincial Government (Pemprov) at the North Maluku Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters on Wednesday, January 10.

Head of Public Relations of the North Maluku Police, Kombes Pom Michael Irwan Tamsil, said the investigation by KPK investigators was to investigate the alleged bribery case for procurement and project licensing at the North Maluku Provincial Government.

"Yes, that's right, we only provide a place for KPK investigators at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters to conduct an examination of a number of North Maluku Provincial Government officials," he said in North Maluku, Wednesday, January 10, which was confiscated by Antara.

The seven people who underwent examination as witnesses, namely the Head of the ESDM North Maluku Service, Suriyanto Andili; Head of the North Maluku Provincial Government Education and Culture, Imran Jakub; Head of the North Maluku Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service, Abdullah Assagaf, Head of the North Maluku Provincial Government BPKAD, Ahmad Purbaya; Treasurer of the Perkim Service, Syahril U Adewal; former Head of PUPR Malut Djafar Ismail; and aide to the inactive Governor of North Maluku Abdul Gani Kasuba, Zaldy Kasuba.

However, the Head of Public Relations could not comment further, because that is the domain of the KPK.

"We don't know about the examination, we'll just ask the KPK later," he said.

Based on observations, the examination of a number of witnesses was carried out by the KPK team at the North Maluku Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters right in the Provos room at around 14.30 WIT.

In this case, the KPK has named the inactive North Maluku Governor, Abdul Gani Kasubakaragi, a suspect.

Apart from Abdul Gani, the suspect's status has also been intercepted by the Head of the PUPR Service, Daud Ismail; Head of the Perkim Hasanudin Adnan Service; Head of BPBJ, Ridwan Arsan; aide to the Governor of North Maluku, Ramadhan Ibrahim and two private parties with the initials ST and KW.
