Ganjar Denies Jokowi Broke The Kongsi Because He Didn't Attend The 51st Anniversary Of PDIP

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo said that the absence of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) during the commemoration of the 51st Anniversary of the PDIP was not due to a broken partnership.

This was conveyed by Ganjar after attending the 51st PDIP Anniversary at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10. He said, Jokowi was indeed on duty abroad for the benefit of the nation.

"Unless he is in Indonesia, he is not present. He is abroad," Ganjar told reporters.

Ganjar said that the presence of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin had represented Jokowi at this event. "He (Jokowi, ed) is on a visit abroad, it's impossible to attend," said the former Governor of Central Java.

"So it is represented by the Vice President," he continued.

Even so, Ganjar had mentioned the neutrality that was also discussed by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri in her political speech. Of course, everyone hopes that Jokowi has that attitude.

"Surely all will hope for neutrality. What Bu Mega said, a warning for all of us to be neutral. That's all. When all are neutral, it will definitely be the people's hope," he said.

It is known that the relationship between President Jokowi and PDIP is suspected to be not good lately. One of the reasons is related to the progress of the child who is also the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as the vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto.

In fact, at that time Gibran was still a PDIP cadre. However, he received support from the Golkar Party to pair up with the Minister of Defense (Menhan).
