'Flooding' Mi Instant On Jalan Trans Sulawesi As A Result Of Trucks Failing To Soar, Police Are Busy Evacuating

North Kolaka Police Resort Police (Polres Kolut), Southeast Sulawesi Police evacuated an instant noodle truck that had an accident and rolled over on Jalan Trans Sulawesi in Bahari Village, local district. The head of the Tollala Police, Ipda Jumardi, said the accident occurred when the 15 tonnes of instant noodles truck failed to climb on the road. "Due to failing to climb the Laleko Kolaka Utara climb, the truck had an accident at around 09.30 WITA," said Ipda Jumardi when contacted in Kendari, Antara, Wednesday, January 10. He said the accident began when the truck was moving from the direction of Malili District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi to Lasusua District, Southeast Sulawesi Province, where the truck driver on behalf of Baharuddin (43) allegedly failed to pass the network on the climb, resulting in the truck losing balance and having an accident. "When he was climbing in Leleko, his driver wanted to pass the press, but failed, and the accident occurred," said Ipda Jumardi. Based on the information from the driver, continued Ipda Jumardi, the truck he was driving suffered damage to the network component, so that when the screening was carried out there was a failure. "Information from the driver, he wanted to pass to one (personal) teeth, but there was damage, so it couldn't be passed," he said. He said that due to the failure in the screening service, the truck failed to climb up and walk backwards, so it rolled over and closed the entire shoulder of the road. Meanwhile, 15 tons of instant noodles were transported scattered in the middle of the road.

"Currently, an evacuation process is still being carried out, assisted by the surrounding community, because the truck is still covering part of the shoulder of the road, resulting in traffic jams, only small cars can pass through the road, while large trucks are still stuck," said Ipda Jumardi.
