JAKARTA - The PDI-P DPP held the commemoration of the 51st Anniversary (HUT), at the Lenteng Agung Party School, South Jakarta, with the theme and spirit of "Satyam Eva Jayate" and was chaired by the General Chair of Megawati Soekarnoputri in a hybrid manner. The opening of the Anniversary was carried out in a hybrid manner. Structural parties were 1,2 million administrators; 128 members of the DPR RI; 418 members of the DPRD province; 2,874 members of the district and city DPRD; 131 regional heads; 124 deputy regional heads; and 32 thousand candidates," said PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto at the PDI-P Party School in the Lenteng Agung area, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10. Hasto explained that the opening of the event was started at 10.00 WIB, followed by thanksgiving at the RT and RW levels in the regions simultaneously at 16.00 WIB. Activities with grassroots, said Hasto, to maintain unity with the people as the strength of the party core. In addition, the entire series of PDI-P's 51st Anniversary prioritized the spirit of Satyam Eva Jayate, namely the truth must have won. Hasti said the spirit was important in efforts to win the PDI-P and candidate pair number 2 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in the 2024 election.

"Activities to care for women with reforestation, the spirit of culture of the archipelago, and consolidation at the grassroots will be the main feature of the party's anniversary series," said Hasto. The celebration of the 51st Anniversary of the PDI-P will be attended directly by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, Megawati Soekarnoputri, Ganjar Pranowo, and several ministers and community leaders from within the party.
