JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo attended the 51st Anniversary of the PDI-P (PDIP) at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta today, Wednesday, January 10.

From field observations, Ganjar arrived at around 10:00 WIB. He was late because he had just arrived from Central Java to campaign.

Ganjar was seen entering the room where the event was held when the Indonesia Raya had three reverberating stazahs. He who was wearing a red suit stood behind until the opening.

Only after that, Ganjar sat next to General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri after. At that time, he also shook hands with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.

Meanwhile, Mahfud MD, who is Ganjar's vice presidential candidate, has not been seen. The reason is that he is campaigning in East Java.

As for the room where the event took place, there were only 51 seats. Those who were seen present were Plt Chairman of PPP Mardiono and Chairman of the Perindo Party Harry Tanoesoedibjo who currently supported Ganjar-Mahfud in the 2024 presidential election.

Meanwhile, Oesman Sapta Odang, who is the General Chair of the Hanura Party, was not present but represented. Then the Chairman of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Arsjad Rasjid and Deputy for Politics 5.0 TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Andi Widjajanto were also present.

A number of ministers from PDIP representatives were also present. They include Cabinet Secretary Minister (Menseskab) Pramono Anung, Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini, Minister of PAN RB Azwar Anas.

Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was not present at this event because he was on a working visit abroad. However, PDIP admits that there is no problem with the absence of the former governor of DKI Jakarta.

"It doesn't matter because we said earlier that we respect what President Jokowi's agenda is for this nation and state. And it is higher than anything else," said PDIP politician Chico Hakim to reporters at the event location.

As previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said the 51st PDIP Anniversary event did not invite many guests. Only Vice President Ma'ruf Amin to the friends of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri were invited.

"The event will be attended by Vice President Kiai Haji Ma'ruf Amin and several ministers from internal parties and who are friends of Mrs. Megawati," Hasto told reporters, Wednesday, January 10.

Hasto said the party's anniversary commemoration bearing the bull symbol was carried out simply. The theme taken was 'Satyameva Jayate, Truth Must Win'.

"The opening was carried out at 10.00 WIB at the Party School," he said.

Later this opening ceremony will be attended by 1.2 million administrators; 128 members of the DPR RI; 418 Provincial DPRD; 2874 DPRD City Regency; 131 Regional Heads; 124 deputy regional heads and 32 thousand candidates online. They will all listen to Megawati's political speech.
