Three Regional Regulations Approved, Kaltara Provincial Government Prepare 24 Ranperda

TANJUNG SELOR Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal Arifin Paliwang attended the plenary meeting of the DPRD of North Kalimantan Province During the first trial of 2024.

The plenary session discussed the mutual agreement with the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) regarding the implementation of sports, preservation and management of cultural heritage and facilitation of Prevention and eradication of abuse and dark empowerment of narcotics precursor narcotics.

In addition, the Kaltara Provincial Government with DPRD degrees approved the program for the formation of regional regulations (Perda) in 2024.

"As autonomous areas, the Provincial Government and the North Kalimantan DPRD must implement regional government functions that effectively pay attention to the principles of democracy, equality, justice, and legal certainty in the unitary state system of the Republic of Indonesia," said Zainal, Tuesday, January 9.

This is in line with Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government, as amended into Law Number 6 of 2023.

"Every implementation of regional government affairs must comply with statutory regulations, including regional legal products should not conflict with higher regulations, public interests and decency. We feel various obstacles together in the discussion, but we remain enthusiastic and synergized in the discussion process to perfect the draft regional regulations, I do not forget to thank you for the suggestions and input," said the governor of Kaltara.

The Kaltara Provincial Government, continued Zainal, has a responsibility to protect the people of Kaltara from a very serious threat from the abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotics and narcotics precursors.

Therefore, Ranperda was formed regarding facilitation to prevent and eradicate the abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotics and narcotics precursors, so that the role of local governments can be maximized.

"This regional regulation, which we approved after the results of the facilitation from the Ministry of Home Affairs. For the next stage, the Regional Government immediately applied for a registration number to the Ministry of Home Affairs," he said.

Previously, the Chairperson of the Special Committee for the Implementation of Sports, Yancong, said that the preparation of the Raperda began in the period April - November 2023.

Raperda material on sports as a result of discussions with partners and facilitation of the Director General, including the Raperda for sports administration.

"That contains the coaching of athletes, intensive provision to athletes, facilitation of sports facilities and infrastructure as well as regulations regarding sanctions," he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Special Committee for Preservation and Management of Cultural Conservation, Ainun Farida, revealed that the special committee for cultural heritage was carried out and carried out during March -

December 2023. The drafting of the Raperda was formed on the basis of the initiation of the Kaltara DPRD which consists of 15 Chapters and 57 Articles. The scope of this regional regulation contains Criteria, Registration, Preservation, Management, Development and Supervision of Cultural Conservation as well as Criminal provisions.
