Bawaslu Coordinates With The Manager Of Kampung Akuarium Related To APK AMIN

North Jakarta Bawaslu coordinates with the management of the Aquarium Susun Village regarding the existence of campaign props (APK) for presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) in the flat.

"Bawaslu North Jakarta has conducted a search of the location. They are still coordinating with the flat management," said DKI Jakarta Bawaslu member Benny Sabdo as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 9.

Benny emphasized that the APK in the form of billboards, billboards, banners, tubers, pamphlets, flags or brochures should not be installed by election participants in government-owned facilities.

In principle, said the Coordinator of the DKI Jakarta Province Bawaslu Violation Handling Division, the APK should not be installed in government-owned facilities.

"Such as Kampung Susun Aquarium which is located in Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, which is a building owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov)," he said.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) has arranged a number of locations that are prohibited locations to be fitted by the 2024 Election participants.

This is regulated in the Decree of the DKI KPU Number 363 concerning the Installation Location of Campaign Performance Equipment in the Province of the Special Capital City of Jakarta in the 2024 General Election.

The DKI KPU prohibits participants from the 2024 Election from installing APKs in places of worship, hospitals or health services and educational places which include buildings or school streets and universities.

Next, buildings and facilities belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, protocol roads as well as public facilities and infrastructure such as parks and trees.

If the election participants are proven to have violated the provisions, it means that they have violated the election campaign and can be dealt with by Bawasluse as regulated in Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections (Pemilu).
