Walkot Andi Harun Apologizes For The Delay Of ASN Samarinda Salary, Promises This Week To Be Completed

SAMARINDA - The Samarinda City Government, East Kalimantan, will soon complete the payment of salaries for thousands of state civil servants which have been delayed no later than this week. "We apologize to all ASN who experienced salary delays. This is not because of our inability, but because there is a change in the system that we must follow," Samarinda Mayor Andi Harun told reporters in Samarinda, Antara, Monday, January 8. He explained that the delay in paying employee salaries was due to the launch of a new system from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform called the Government Information System of the Republic of Indonesia (SIPD RI). "This new system must be implemented by all local governments. We must transfer data from the old system to a new system. This process requires intensive time and coordination with related parties," said Andi Harun. The Samarinda City Government has made maximum efforts to speed up the data mutation process so that employee salaries can be paid immediately. He hopes that there will be no more technical problems that hinder the payment of employee salaries. "We thank you for the understanding and patience of all ASN who have worked hard to serve the community," he said. Andi Harun asked the ASN salary of the Samarinda City Government to be paid manually for this January, following obstacles to SIPD. "If we wait it will definitely take more time, but the availability of our money is very healthy, very sufficient. This is only related to technical payments," he said. The Mayor of Samarinda has ordered the regional secretary and head of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) to pay employee salaries manually as a middle ground so as not to drag on.

"Therefore, last week I ordered the regional secretary and head of the BKD specifically this month so that there is no need to wait for the completion of the data mutation from the old system to the new SIPD system, so it is done manually," he said. Andi Harun hopes that this way, the ASN salary of the Samarinda City Government can be disbursed immediately and does not cause unrest among government employees.
