Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas explained that the reason for the government to re-allocate the 2024 CPNS formation for fresh graduates is a state commitment to provide opportunities for the best young talents to devote their minds and energy to the state.

In addition, the government has also opened many formations for digital talents so that they can encourage public service bureaucracy so that it can run more effectively and efficiently.

"We encourage digital talent and new formations to strengthen the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP)," he continued.

As is known, the Government will provide 2.3 million formations in the opportunity for CPNS recruitment in 2024. The CASN 2024 formation itself consists of 207,247 prospective civil servants (CPNS) and 221,936 government employees with a work agreement (PPPK). The formation includes teachers, lecturers, health workers, and technical personnel.

Menpan-RB Abdullah Azwar Anas explained that the 2024 CPNS recruitment will review the computer assisted test (CAT) system nationally with digital technology. This was chosen so that the selection is more transparent and accountable.

The selection of competencies will also be based online, one of which is by involving facial recognition technology to reduce the potential for fraud.

In addition, the value of the selection results is also presented in real-time so that it can be accessed directly by the public, one of which will also be broadcast via YouTube's live score.

"The procurement of CASN is intended for every Indonesian citizen and all of them have the same opportunity. So we make sure the selection is carried out in a transparent and accountable manner," explained Anas.

In 2024, ASN formation including CPNS reached 2.3 million formations, with details of the need for central agencies being 429,183 with the need for 207,247 CPNS and 221,936 joint PPPK teachers, lecturers, health workers, and technical personnel.

Meanwhile, the needs of regional agencies reached 1,867,333 formations consisting of 483,575 CPNS formations and 1,383,758 PPPK formations. In addition, the official school allocation is 6,027 formations. For details, the needs of PPPK are 419,146 teachers, 417,196 health workers, and 547,416 technical personnel.
