People Can Still Take Care Of Moving TPS Until January 15, Here's How

The General Elections Commission (KPU) still provides opportunities for people who want to move to vote in the upcoming 2024 to 15 January elections.

In this case, voters who are already registered on the permanent voter list (DPT) can apply for a move to choose or switch polling stations, if they are in a place that does not match their respective e-KTP addresses.

This is stated in KPU Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Preparation of Voter Lists in the Implementation of General Elections and Voter Data Information Systems.

For this reason, DKI KPU Member of the Socialization Division, Voter Education and Community Participation Astri Megatari appealed to people who want to move to choose to immediately take care of the transfer form to vote.

"Bas waktu untuk mengurus form pindah memilih tinggal lagi. Kami imbau bagi warga yang akan pindah memilih ke DKI Jakarta dapat langsung datang ke kantor PPS di kelurahan, kantor PPK di kecamatan, atau kantor KPU Kabupaten/Kota terdekat," ungkap Astri dalam keterangannya, Senin, 8 Januari.

Astri emphasized that the process of moving documents to choose elections cannot be done online or online. The reason is, there are documents that must be verified as a condition for moving to choose.

Therefore, voters who will take care of moving to vote for the 2024 General Election, must come directly to PPS, PPK, or the Regency/City KPU, by bringing their e-KTP and supporting documents for the reason of moving to vote.

The conditions for moving to choose include: 1. Carrying out tasks elsewhere on voting day, must be accompanied by a letter of assignment signed by the Head of the Association for voting day or company and a wet stamp.

2. Underpatient care at health care facilities, both patients and accompanying families must be accompanied by an inpatient certificate from the hospital/health service and a companion statement letter.

3. Persons with disabilities who undergo treatment in social institutions or rehabilitation institutions, must be accompanied by a certificate from a social institution or treatment institution in a social institution or rehabilitation institution, signed by the Head of the Agency or company and a wet stamp.

4. Carrying out drug rehabilitation, must be accompanied by a certificate from the Head of the Drug rehabilitation Institution which is signed by the leadership and a wet stamp.

5. Being a prisoner in a detention center or correctional institution or convict who is serving a prison sentence or confinement, must be equipped with a statement letter from Kalapas or Karutan.

6. The task of learning / improving secondary or higher education must be accompanied by a study certificate from other campuses / educational institutions signed and a wet stamp.

7. Moving domicile must be equipped with a photocopy of the latest e-KTP and/or KK.

8. The natural disaster must be accompanied by a letter from BNPB, the village head/lurah or news from the mass media.

9. Working outside the domicile must be equipped with a letter of assignment or information signed by the Head of the Agencies or company and a wet stamp and a photocopy of the latest e-KTP and/or KK.
