Anies Asks Prabowo Not To Be Emotional, Must Be Calm And Open

Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan asked Prabowo Subianto not to be emotional during the debate that took place at Istora Senayan, Sunday, January 7. Because Anies assessed that the theme of this debate on defense must be answered calmly and openly.

"That's why for us to be calm and cold, don't be emotional in dealing with problems and the state in dealing with defense," said Anies Baswedan.

Anies also stated that there are various threats in sight, namely threats to online fraud and terrorist threats that require attention.

"The threat of terrorism all requires attention, so it is not deciding to spend on Alutsista (President Tool of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Weapon System) based on tastes and based on past preferences. But it must reflect future needs," explained Anies.

For this reason, the number one presidential candidate prioritizes the importance of a good strategy so that the strength of the Indonesian National Armed Forces is more optimal, not only for personal matters, but for the state.

"This future is what we think is important, yes, we need to increase the budget, but don't get the threat wrong, it's also a shift," said Anies.
