Debate Of Presidential Candidate: Asked About Ethics Standards By Anies, Here's Prabowo's Answer

Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto responded to Anies' question about the ethical standards of a leader during the presidential candidate debate which took place at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday, January 7.

"What is the relationship between the ethical standards of a country leader and his ability to maintain national defense, security and sovereignty," Anies asked Prabowo.

Prabowo also said that not only because of personal ambitions to mislead the people, incite the people and endanger the people's security defenses.

"This is sacred for us, it concerns our safety, not because our personal ambitions to incite and mislead the people are the highest ethics, Professor Anies Baswedan, that is the highest ethics, cleanliness of the soul, honesty, loyalty to the people," explained Prabowo.

Prabowo described the ethical standards of leaders in maintaining national defense, security and sovereignty asked by Anies Baswedan.

"First, the value is love for the homeland, second, honesty, third, cleanliness that you talk back and forth, you must set an example of not being corrupt in any form,"

Prabowo also agreed with Anies' statement, according to Prabowo, that the higher the position, the more complex it would take for values, very fundamental values.
