Security Of Third Debate Of Presidential Candidates, 3,041 Joint Personnel Deployed

JAKARTA - A total of 3,041 joint personnel were deployed to secure the third debate on the Presidential Election or the 2024 presidential election, on Sunday, January 7, 2024. The activity will take place at Istora Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno, Central Jakarta.

"For security, we have deployed 3,041 joint personnel," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division and Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, in a written statement, Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Thousands of joint personnel consist of 2,877 Polri personnel, namely Task Force 727 personnel, Task Force 2,000 personnel, and Task Force 100 personnel.

Then, 120 TNI personnel and 94 personnel came from the DKI Regional Government with details of Satpol PP 40 personnel, Transportation Agency 35 personnel, Derek 5 personnel, and Firefighters 14 personnel.

"Security of joint Polri, TNI, and DKI Jakarta Provincial Government personnel is in accordance with the dynamics of the task of securing the third Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate Debat activities through the Preemptive, Preventive, Public Relations, and Operational Assistance Task Force," said Trunoyudo.

On the other hand, Trunoyudo said that of the 12 access gates in the GBK area, some of them will also be closed. This is part of the security scheme.

Closed access doors are doors 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 11, and 12. Then, for doors 5 and 8 it is only used for exit access.

"Meanwhile, the 7 and 10 doors are used for entrances and exits," said Trunoyudo.

Meanwhile, the third debate for the 2024 presidential election will begin at 19.00 WIB. The theme of the presidential and vice presidential candidates debate will be defense, security, international relations, globalization, geopolitical, and foreign politics.
