Head of Semarang Polrestabes Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar in Semarang, Sunday, explained that the action began with a report by animal protection activists who stopped truck transporting 226 dogs of various types.

"The police are following up on reports from animal protection activists about trucks transporting hundreds of dogs allegedly without documents at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on Saturday night," said Irwan.

During the action, two truck crews numbered AD 1358 YE were also secured. The two truck crews S (48) and A (49) respectively, who are residents of Gemolong, Sragen Regency.
