The Accident Line Can Be Passed By A Train, Speed 20 Km Per Hour

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) announced on Saturday January 6, at 06.30 WIB, the road plot between Haurpugur Station - Cicalengka Station is sterile and can be passed by trains with a limited speed of 20 km per hour.

The first train that crossed the line was the Cikuray train (KA.267) Garut Pasarsenen connection at 08:56 WIB.

KAI would like to thank all stakeholders involved in the process of normalizing the rail line between Haurpugur Cicalengka. Currently, the rail line can be passed at a limited speed.

"A number of rail rail repairs by strengthening the rail road body continue to be carried out so that the train can operate at normal speed again," said KAI VP Public Relations Joni Martinus in a statement received by VOI, Saturday, January 6.

Previously, PT KAI evacuated by deploying 200 personnel consisting of the KAI team, KAI Commuter, BTP for the West Java region of the Ministry of Transportation, Basarnas, and other related Stakeholders.

KAI also uses heavy equipment in the form of 2 cranes, 6 electric jacks, and other heavy equipment supporting equipment. The materials used in the process of repairing the route are 100 rail pads.

"KAI apologizes profusely for the unwanted events of all parties. KAI and related parties continue to make efforts to normalize the route so that the journey returns smoothly," said Joni.
