JAKARTA - The pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1 Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar joked with NasDem Party Treasurer Ahmad Sahroni regarding the installation of a "dream of becoming president" billboard by Sahroni at a number of points.

"The Constitutional Court can take a long time. If you want to hurry up again, through uncle. It's not dangerous, ta?" said Cak Imin and was greeted with laughter again.

Anies and Cak Imin's joke can be considered as a satire of the Constitutional Court's decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 regarding the age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates that opens up space for Gibran Rakabuming Raka to become vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election.

The Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman when the decision was issued was the uncle of Gibran or the brother-in-law of President Joko Widodo. This decision has drawn polemics and protests from a number of people.
