Two TPN Members Ganjar-Mahfud Move Haluan Support Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - Two members of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) decided to change course to support candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

Both are Deputy Director of TPN Representatives Ganjar-Mahfud, Zieko CH Odang and Jurkamnas Ganjar-Mahfud, Luhut Parlinggoman Siahaan.

Luhut changed his support for Prabowo-Gibran because his previous choice was wrong. In fact, he admitted that he had resigned from the Chairman of the Tanjungbalai KPU to support Ganjar-Mahfud.

"After resigning, I was trusted to be the head of the volunteers. After becoming the head of the volunteers, I was appointed as Jurkamnas. Later, I can check on Google with a lot of news regarding me. In fact, there were many criticisms from my previous meeting with the Prabowo-Gibran pair. But be aware," said Luhut at the Fanta TKN Headquarters, Jalan Surabaya Number 45, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday, January 5.

Luhut explained that his support for Ganjar-Mahfud was not the right choice. Because he said, only Prabowo-Gibran was considered to understand the voices of young people.

"In the next team, it doesn't exist, it can be checked. And the vision and mission related to the youth who is most clearly the Prabowo-Gibran pair. It can be checked that each candidate's vision and mission is the most important and most specifically for empowering youth is the Prabowo-Gibran pair," he explained.

Meanwhile, Zieko revealed his reasons for supporting Prabowo-Gibran because he observed his vision and mission in developing the country.

"I have been thinking about moving to Prabowo-Gibran for a long time because I see that as an activist, I saw the movement in the grassroots today and what AMPI and TKN Fanta did to gather young voters was also very influential at the grassroot level," he said.

Meanwhile, the Commander of the Young Voter TKN Prabowo-Gibran (Fanta), Arief Rosyid Hasan, said he was happy with the joining of Zieko and Luhut who turned around to support Prabowo-Gibran.

"Young people who want to contribute want to accompany Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran's struggle and don't want to be trapped in vilifying narratives, hoax narratives, divisive narratives," he said.

Arief ensured that his party would continue to prioritize peaceful politics. He is concerned if there is one political party chairman to a presidential candidate who underestimates millennials.

"So I think our concern is that if there is one character, the head of a political party who talks 'what is the millennial contribution? And secondly, one of the presidential candidates is also sarcastic about influencers, which is that he is still young, but what job is considered," he concluded.
