Coordinating Minister For Human Development And Culture Calls Turangga Vs Bandung Raya Collision Victims No One Has Serious Injury

BANDUNG - Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy immediately inspected the collision locations of the Greater Bandung and Turangga Commuterline Trains between Haurpugur-Cicalengka Station, precisely at KM 181+700, Friday, December 5 at 06.03 WIB. According to Muhadjir, none of the victims of the train collision suffered serious injuries only minor and moderate injuries. Currently, the majority of victims are being treated at the Cicalengka Hospital and other private hospitals. "Alhamdullilah, none of the victims were seriously injured, only moderately and lightly. All were treated in hospitals, regional hospitals and healthy victims were transported to Bandung," Muhadjir said as quoted by Kompas TV, Friday, December 5. Muhadjir also expressed his condolences for the victims who died. Currently, continued Muhadjir, related parties are still evacuating train carriages and victims. "And as long as the Governor's report and everything has been handled properly and quickly. What we prioritize is passenger safety," he explained. Previously, an accident occurred between the Turangga Train (KA) and the Bandung Local Train on the plot of Cicalengka Station, Cicalengka District, Bandung Regency, West Java. The Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 2 Ayep confirmed that the incident began when the two trains collided with each other at 06.03 WIB.

"Iya (true) in Cicalengka, the incident at 06.03 WIB was fighting a bull between the Turangga train and the Local Train and is currently in the process of being evacuated," said Ayep.
