JAKARTA - The management of PT Transportation Jakarta (TransJakarta) said that 28 Mikrotrans service routes returned to operations after the flood which hit Jakarta and its surrounding areas due to high intensity rain on Saturday, February 20 in the early hours of the morning.

"28 Mikrotrans services have been operating normally and have returned to serve customers this morning, Sunday, February 21. Previously, all of these services had stopped operating temporarily, as a result of the rain that flushed Jakarta since Friday, February 19," said TransJakarta Operations Director Prasetia Budi in his statement in Jakarta, Sunday, February 21st.

However, Prasetia said that there are several TransJakarta services that operate with route modifications or are not yet operating normally due to flooding.

One of them is the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Corridor 6 Ragunan-Halimun route which is affected by the work on the electricity and MCB repairs, although in the opposite direction it operates normally.

There are also other routes that are not operating normally as follows:

Service stops operation;

1. Citraland-Puri Kembangan Route (3E) 2. Kalideres-Puri Kembangan (JAK 50)

Services with customization;

1. Route from Kampung Rambutan-Lebak Bulus (7B)

The direction of Kampung Rambutan Block M goes up via Corridor 13 to Tendean then operates normally to Kampung Rambutan

The direction of Blok MKampung Rambutan is normal to the bus stop Mampang-Mampang underpass then turns back after the Mampang-Tendean Underpass then goes up via Corridor 13 to Blok M.

2. JAK 07 (Tanah Abang-Grogol) has undergone route diversion

3. JAK 75 (Cililitan-Kampung Pulo) is experiencing a shortened route

4. JAK 85 (Bintara-Cipinang Indah Market) has experienced a shortened route

5. Jak 02 (Kampung Melayu-Duren Sawit) has undergone a diversion

"TransJakarta continues to urge the public to stay at home if there is no urgent need. But if you have to leave the house because you are forced to, always make sure to apply 3M, namely wearing a mask, washing hands, and keeping your distance," concluded Prasetia.
