TKN Regarding Satpol PP Makes Content Support Gibran: It Needs To Be Actted If Violating Atran

JAKARTA - Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Nusron Wahid, said that the alleged Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) supporting Gibran Rakabuming Raka needed to be dealt with if it violated the rules.

"Just give it up with Bawaslu, the same rules apply. If it violates the rules, yes, it will be dealt with. Yes, go ahead if it is like that," said Nusron when met at the Media Center of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, South Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 3.

Nusron also emphasized that TKN Prabowo-Gibran did not establish communication with the Satpol PP personnel. "We know which boundaries we may enter, which ones we cannot enter," he added.

Apart from that, Nusron said he was grateful for the viral video on social media. According to him, the declaration of support for Satpol PP, which incidentally illegal, is a sign that Prabowo-Gibran is loved by components and elements of society.

"I'm grateful, thank God, that's a sign that Pak Prabowo is loved by components and elements of society, even the Satpol PP that shouldn't be able to support the open, that's so infeasible, his love is like that, but yes, he should be reprimanded administratively first, don't be fired immediately and so on," he said.

Previously, a viral video circulated on social media showing a number of people suspected of being members of the Garut Regency Satpol PP expressing their indirectly support for Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

In the narrative, it is stated that Indonesia needs young leaders in the future.

Before conveying this, the spokesperson in the video said that they came from the Garut Regency Civil Service Police Assistance Communication Forum.

In this regard, the Garut Regency Satpol PP, West Java, examined the video makers and unscrupulous members of the institution in a video of support for vice presidential candidate number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"Currently it is related to the video, we are currently processing it with the provost of the Garut Satpol PP," said Head of Human Resources of the Garut Regency Satpol PP Tubagus Agus Sofyan in a written statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (2/1).

Tubagus stated that the Garut Satpol PP moved quickly to deal with the problem by calling everyone in the video. Regarding when the video was made, the Garut Satpol PP was still investigating further.

On the other hand, Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan stated that members of the Garut Regency Satpol PP who made the video convey themselves to support Gibran Rakabuming Raka were confirmed to be sanctioned.

"All have been given sanctions, the most severe sanctions are that he is promoted and no salary payments will be paid for three months," said Rudy Gunawan.
