JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Habiburokhman, replied to Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin's criticism about the debt of buying weapons of war. Habiburokhman said it showed Muhaimin Iskandar's misunderstanding about Geopolitical and Geostrategic.

He explained that the purchase of defense equipment must go through a procedure that is not easy.

"So if we fight, we need weapons, buying weapons is not like buying Indomie to Indomaret, what is this language Indomaret, don't mention brands, minimarkets, right, there is money, you can't necessarily buy it," said Habiburokhman, Wednesday, January 3.

Habiburokhman also mentioned the statement of former Vice President Jusuf Kalla who spoke that there would be no war in the next 20 to 30 years. In fact, he said, war occurred in a number of countries.

"Releasing Ukraine, Israeli Hamas erupted, tensions in the South China Sea (South China Sea)," he explained.

As previously reported, the candidate for vice president number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar, admitted that he was surprised by the government's attitude in debting hundreds of trillions of rupiah only to buy war tools.

In fact, according to Cak Imin, currently Indonesia is not facing war conditions. This was revealed by Cak Imin while campaigning in Bandung Regency.

"We are not at war, why are we mostly in debt and buying war tools? It is better to debt to buy agricultural equipment," said Cak Imin, Wednesday, January 3.

The general chairman of the PKB is of the view that, in Indonesia, the need for procurement of defense equipment is no more important than food matters.
